Tired of bad rotation algorithms?

Me too, they suck, and have put a massive stigma on rotating element in your pixel art.

Thanks to the awesome work by Torcado, we have CleanEdge, which is a massive step up from the traditional RotSprite algorithm that has become standard in pixel art tools.

Regular rotation algorithms either rely on blurring and averaging to give clean results (a big no-no in pixel art) or fail to respect the clusters, shapes, and clean lines in the artwork. Using Clean Rotate you can retain most of the fidelity of the clusters and lines, resulting in little to no editing being needed to make rotated elements look awesome. This is super useful for effects and animations.

The new rotation tool can be accessed from "Sprite" -> "Rotate Image"
